Using our proprietary tools, we work to ensure that our clients' websites and Google Places/Maps are ranked on page ONE for numerous relevant search phrases to give them a Competitive Advantage over their local competition and many of the third-party aggregating websites (e.g., Autotraders, etc.).
Who We Are
Illuminate Advantage has been serving the Used Car Dealer Industry since 2010. Our founder and Principal, Roy Krag, created the system we use to help our clients grow their business and to digitally "dominate" their competition. Before founding Illuminate Advantage, he served as a consultant for 10 years, specializing in marketing and troubleshooting following a successful career as a C-suite operating executive of a Fortune 500 company.
Over the past 15 years, Illuminate Advantage has worked with large and small dealers from around the country including dealers in the cities of: Houston & Austin, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Minneapolis, MN; New Orleans, LA; Biloxi, Gulfport, Hattiesburg & Jackson MS; Mobile & Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; Columbia, SC; Nashville, TN; Raleigh, NC; Virginia Beach, VA; and Washington, DC.
We limit the number of clients we serve so that Roy can work directly with each client. We only add new clients when we lose one (our average client-retention is 8 years, and our attrition is primarily through dealer ownership changes).
How We Work
Step one:
Illuminate Advantage will submit a Confidentiality Declaration to protect our prospective Dealer's business information that is not in the public domain, and to solicit relevant information from the Dealer's team to help in preparing a Proposal. There is no cost to, or obligation for the prospective Dealer for Illuminate Advantage to perform its research and submit a Proposal.
Step two:
We will prepare a proposal to install our proprietary Competitive Advantage program for the Dealer's most active and relevant search phrases. This Service is priced on a monthly performance-based fee schedule (click to read details). Typically, we recommend programming the most frequently clicked generic "used auto" search phrases (e.g., "used car for sale", "used truck dealers") and the top 4-8 Makes (Brands) that account for 50-60 percent of the Dealer's Inventory. The proposal will include a list of the Client's current Google Local ("blue link") search and Places results to serve as a baseline for future comparisons.
Occasionally, during our research of the Dealer's digital footprint, we discover issues outside of the scope of our Performance-based services. We will list these issues separately in the Proposal, with a price to resolve them, if they're within our skill set.
Step-Three:
The dealer reviews the Proposal, clarifies any questions, and then accepts or rejects it.
Step-Four:
Illuminate Advantage
will immediately begin working for the new Dealer client. Typically, within less than a month, the Dealer client's website will begin to achieve higher Google rankings! Illuminate Advantage will submit invoices monthly based on documented qualified rankings.
